• Humility is a realistic view of ourselves in relationship to who God is.  It understands that ultimately we are dependent on Him for everything and will one day stand before Him and give an account.  Humility acknowledges God for who He is and understands who we are in relationship to who He is.


  • This week we will look at three more pieces from the armor of God, faith, salvation and the word of God.  Each of these pieces are crucial if we are to stand against the devil in the strength of God's power.  Just as a Roman Soldier needed to have his armor to fight in a battle, we too are called to put on God's armor, that we may defend ourselves and secure victory in Jesus.


  • Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace (Eph 6:14–15)
