We believe that our purpose as a church is to be a beacon of light to the world around us. We see our church as a community of God's people reaching out and inviting the world to know more about Jesus. We look to God's Word to guide us, lead us, and define our mission.
It is our hope that you feel at home when you visit Immanuel Bible Church. We pray that you will be blessed by the sermons, and the fellowship. Our goals are clear.
We want to be a "refueling station," not the destination.
Our desire is that every person who attends IBC would grow and discover the joy of being part of what He is doing in the world!
We pray that every person who is part of our church community is cared for, loved and discipled.
We exist for three main reasons that feel very strongly about. We believe that focusing on these three things is what God calls for us to do. We trust in the Lord and follow his will.
SERVING GOD
We serve the Triune God, who eternally exists in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit, each eternal in being, identical in nature, equal in power and glory, having the same attributes and perfections.
The Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God. The Holy Spirit revealed God's truth to the minds of the human writers, so that using their own individual personalities they composed and recorded God's perfect revelation to man. We further maintain that God has supernaturally preserved His revelation so that it is the infallible Word of God.
As long as we love one another we will grow stronger as a community of believers. We feel that engaging in fellowship is a very important tool that God calls for us to do as often as possible. If we continue to reach the lost and broken, and extend grace, God will bless us for our efforts.

Joe Suozzo, Senior Pastor
Pastor Joe has been serving with Immanuel Bible Church since 2004 with his wonderful wife Dianne and two beautiful daughters, Anna Marie (26) and Danielle (24). Previously they served 10 years in India church planting. Pastor Joe has his BA from Moody Bible Institute and MA from Columbia Biblical Seminary. He enjoys his family, hiking, classical guitar and of course teaching the word of God at IBC!
Mike Tapia, Pastor
Pastor Mike has been attending IBC since 1999 and has been serving as one its Pastors for the last 7 years. He lives in Jackson, NJ with Linda his amazing wife of 26 years. They have one son, Mike (25) and three lovely daughters, Sharon (23), Ana (17) and Kailey (13). Pastor Mike holds a Masters of Theological studies from Southwestern Bible Theological Seminary and loves serving and teaching the Word of God. When free, he can be found spending time with his family.
Mike Heard, Pastor
Pastor Mike has been attending IBC since 1999 and has been serving as one its Pastors for the last 10 years. He lives in Brick, NJ with Debbie his amazing wife of 31 years. They have two sons, Mike (29) and Matt (27). Mike has been working as a lay elder while working as a project manager for Trevcon construction. He loves the word of God and enjoys overseeing our small group ministry with a goal to see those within IBC discipled for God's glory.
