IBC Men's Retreat 2020

February  28 - 29

The focus of this year’s men’s retreat will be for us to cultivate and understand our time with God.  God invites us to draw strength from Him for all of life His primary way to empower us is taking time to spend with Him in prayer.

When King David faced his enemies, he began by expressing his love for God and then reminding himself in prayer that the Lord was his stronghold.  “I love you Lord, my stronghold.”  (Psalm 18:1)   David continued to worship God acknowledging that God is “his refuge, fortress, shield, and the horn of his salvation” knowing that he could “call upon the Lord who is worthy of his praises.”  Psalm 18:2-3)

At this retreat we will discover some of the principles behind a robust prayer life and how to practically make time in our schedules for God both individually and in community.  Look forward to seeing you there.
